Shopping | The Breastfeeding Chronicles

Ultimamente he sido bastante impulsiva cuando voy al mall, sigo comprando cosas aunque mi tarjeta me ruega que pare… Y todavía tengo que hacer todo mi shopping navideño! Ayer fue uno de esos días, fui al mall después del Black Friday de Panamá esperando encontrar unos descuentos (los cuales consegui en ciertas tiendas, pero no en todas), en fin, fui a Express y mientras caminaba vi estos loafers… Amo los loafers… son super cómodos y se ven bien con jeans, pantalones, faldas, shorts y hasta con algunos vestidos. Pero estos loafers son un poco más fashion de lo que estoy acostumbrada, y solo los compré! Tenían el 70% de descuento así que ni siquiera lo pensé.

Los usé hoy y me encantó cómo se ven, le envié una foto a mi mejor amiga y digamos que no opinamos igual jajaja. Los voy a usar igual, me gustan muchísimo. Me los puse con unos jeggins y una t shirt, aquí dejo una foto del look y un collar que me compré también el fin de semana pasado… dos de los items de mis compras impulsivas! No me siento tan cómoda aun tomandome fotos a mi misma, así que por el momento serán desde arriba!

Lately I’ve been very impulsive when I’m visiting the mall, I keep buying things even if my credit card is begging me to stop… And I still have to do all my Christmas Shopping! Yesterday was one of those days, I went to the mall after Panama’s Black Friday, hoping to find some discounts, which I did in some stores, not all of them; anyway, I went to Express and while wondering around I saw this loafers… I love loafers… They are so confy and look great with jeans, pants, shorts, skirts and even with some dresses. But this loafers were a little bit too fashion for me, and I just got them! I saw them there with a 70% off and didn’t even think about it.
I wore them today and loved how they looked, but I sent a picture to my best friend and she didn’t hahaha. I’m still gonna wear them though, I really like them, I just feel they are too edgy for me but they do look good… I paired them with some jeggins and a tshirt, here’s a picture of them and a necklace I got last weekend… Two of the items on my impulsive weekend’s shopping!
BTW I’m not really confortable in taking pictures of myself… As you can see…

Mi vida realmente ha cambiado… Todavía me impresiona, no en una forma negativa, sino que a veces es difícil acostumbrarse a todos los cambios al mismo tiempo. Fuimos a Miami por 6 días, no terminé felíz con mi shopping porque pasamos casi 3 días en cada mall (aun sin visitar las tiendas por departamento), y aun así terminé con muchos items pendientes. Extraño los días de hacer shopping con mís amigas, si están leyendo esto, las extraño, porque en 3 días podíamos causar más daño a la tarjeta de crédito que lo que pude hacer en el doble de tiempo. Además, era más divertido comprar, menos estresante que cuando tienes a dos hombres esperandote afuera de la tienda, sabiendo que si necesito una talla diferente de ropa, una de ellas me puede llevar, y que tengo a alguien que me puede decir realmente cómo me veo… extraño esto!

Aun así, compramos un par de cosas para Nico, como una bandejita para su coche, que amó, no deja de poner sus piesitos en ella todo el día, y también compramos un juguete para la bandeja, que ya aprendió a darle vueltas, riendose por 20 minutos (que es una eternidad en el mundo bebé)… Me encanta verlo reir, ese sonido es lo más increíble que he escuchado en mi vida, hace que mi corazón lata más rápido, en serio, esa personita es el regalo más maravilloso, aunque aun tengo que adaptarme a los cambios que trajo a mi vida.

Después fuimos a Guatemala (yay!) para que mi familia y amigas lo conocieran… lo consintieron demasiado! Se lo disfruto mucho!

OMG! My life has definitely changed… I still get amazed sometimes, not in a bad way though, it’s just hard to get used to all this changes at the same time. We went to Miami for 6 days, I didn’t end up happy with my shopping since we spent like 3 days per mall (even though we did not visit any department store), and I still came home with soooo many pending items. I miss the days of shopping with my girlfriends, if you’re readig this girls, I miss you, since even with 3 days we could do so much more damage to our credit cards than I did in double the time. And it was so much fun to shop, less stressful than to think that my two men are waiting outside of the store for me, knowing that if I needed a different size we could bring it to each other, and that I had someone to tell me how I really look when trying out an outfit… I miss that!
Still, we bought a couple of things for Nico, like a tray for his stroller, which he loved, he kept placing his little feet on it all day long, we also bought a toy for the tray and he even learn how to spin it, he laughed at it for like 20 mins (which is eternity in baby’s world)… I love watching him laugh, that noise is the most amazing sound I’ve heard, it makes my heart beat faster, really, my cute little person is the most wonderful gift, he just brought so many changes to my life, I still need to adjust.
Then we went to to Guatemala (yayy!!!) for my family and friends to meet him… He was soooo spoiled! It was time for him to enjoy!
